KTM celebrate big 2025 on track
KTM is celebrating one of the most successful racing seasons in its history, racking up 28 championship titles across road and off-road disciplines in 2025. The tally includes 16 FIM world rider championships and 12 manufacturer crowns, representing a new annual benchmark for the Austrian manufacturer.
Across all factory and satellite programmes, KTM Factory Racing riders contested 247 races in MotoGP, MXGP, Enduro, Rally and AMA SuperMotocross, collecting 101 victories and 250 podium finishes representing the KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS banners.
Road racing success
In MotoGP, KTM completed its ninth season in the premier class with six Grand Prix podiums and eight Sprint podiums. Pedro Acosta concluded the year fourth overall, while Brad Binder, Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales also contributed to the manufacturer’s consistent presence near the front.
Development towards 2026 began immediately after the season finale, and KTM was the first manufacturer to publicly reveal its 850 cc engine platform for the 2027 regulations.
In Moto2, Deniz Öncü claimed two wins and teammate Collin Veijer earned his first podium during a year disrupted by injuries and rider changes. Replacement rider Daniel Muñoz also contributed to a total of five podiums for the Red Bull KTM Ajo team.
The KTM RC4 remained the dominant machine in Moto3. José Antonio Rueda secured the Riders and Teams Championships for Red Bull KTM Ajo, while KTM sealed the Constructors title with 20 wins from 22 races and 49 podiums. Since Moto3 began in 2012, KTM has now accumulated eight Riders titles and nine Constructors titles in the class.
Spain’s Brian Uriarte became the nineteenth Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup winner and also took the FIM JuniorGP crown, delivering KTM the JuniorGP Manufacturers title.
Off-road titles for KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS
In MXGP, 19-year-old Lucas Coenen finished second overall in his debut premier class season, while Jeffrey Herlings added five more Grand Prix victories to his career total. Red Bull KTM riders combined for 11 GP wins, 22 moto victories and 21 overall podiums.
MX2 was an area of complete dominance, with Simon Längenfelder securing the world championship. KTM riders won every GP of the season, filled five of the top six championship positions and amassed 36 moto wins. KTM also secured the Constructors title in MXGP, MX2 and WMX, as well as the Junior Motocross World Championship in the 85 cc class.
In Rally, Daniel Sanders produced a near-perfect Dakar Rally, winning every stage and increasing KTM’s Dakar legacy to 21 victories. Sanders later secured the FIM Rally-Raid World Championship, while rookie Edgar Canet won both the Dakar Rally2 class and the FIM Rally2 World Cup. KTM claimed the manufacturers title in Rally-Raid.
Enduro competition also delivered multiple titles. Josep Garcia secured both the EnduroGP and Enduro1 world championships, adding eight wins and extending his strong season with another victory at the FIM Six Days Enduro.
Andrea Verona won the Enduro2 world title for GASGAS, while Manuel Lettenbichler retained the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship for KTM. Husqvarna’s Billy Bolt went undefeated in SuperEnduro to claim his fourth world title.
In the United States, Chase Sexton finished runner-up in the 450SX AMA Supercross standings while Aaron Plessinger earned a Main Event win. Tom Vialle captured the 250SX East title on his Red Bull KTM 250 SX-F. KTM also saw strong results in AMA Pro Motocross and the SuperMotocross Playoffs.
KTM concludes the 2025 season with its motorsport programme delivering success across MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, motocross, enduro, rally and AMA competition. The combined KTM group has now accumulated 371 world titles, with Husqvarna contributing 122 and GASGAS adding 43.

Looking ahead, the manufacturer signed Eli Tomac for 2026, with the multi-time champion winning on debut at the FIM World Supercross round in Vancouver.
